Celebrating TYP Alumna Prilly Bicknell-Hersco (TYP 2017)

TYP alumna Prilly Bicknell-Hersco, a doctoral candidate at York University and Membership Chair of the Black Women’s Studies Association (BWSA), works to support Black women scholars in academia. She curated a plenary session at the BWSA symposium to help early-career scholars navigate the challenges of academic publishing. Her efforts contribute to BWSA’s mission of creating an inclusive, collaborative, and interdisciplinary community, especially in a space that began as a digital association during the pandemic.
